From first light to barware, in four steps.

The First Burn

Let the wax pool to the edge — usually two to three hours. This sets the memory and protects the burn life.

Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to roughly 5mm. Cleaner flame, steadier scent, no soot on the glass.

Stop when ~10mm of wax remains. Lift out any residue with warm water and a soft cloth.

Wash, dry, and shelve. The vessel is yours — for whiskey, water, or whatever the evening calls for.
